Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using BhagyaKar ("we", "us", "our", "the Service"). By ticking the agreement checkbox and making a payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
BhagyaKar provides Vedic palm readings generated with the help of an automated reading engine, combined with traditional astrological principles, based on a photograph of your palm and the birth details you provide.
This Service is provided strictly for guidance, spiritual interest, and entertainment purposes only. It is not, and must not be treated as, a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other expert advice. Any decision you make in reliance on a reading, remedy, or gemstone suggestion is made entirely at your own discretion and risk.
Any gemstone, mantra, ritual, or lifestyle suggestion provided as part of your reading is based only on the specific concern(s) you selected (or your Overall Reading, if chosen) and traditional Vedic principles as interpreted by our reading engine. It is not a medical, financial, or professional recommendation.
Before purchasing or wearing any gemstone, or acting on any remedy, you must consult a certified gemologist, doctor, or qualified astrologer. BhagyaKar accepts no liability whatsoever for any outcome, expense, injury, financial loss, or other consequence arising from a decision made based on your reading.
By using this Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. BhagyaKar does not knowingly provide readings to, or collect data from, anyone under 18.
To provide your reading, we collect and store: your name, date of birth, gender (if provided), email address, the palm photograph you upload, your selected concerns, and the reading generated for you.
Palmistry and astrology are traditional belief systems, not empirical sciences. We make no representation or warranty — express or implied — that any prediction, timing window, or interpretation in your reading is accurate, complete, or will occur as described. Predictions about future events are inherently uncertain.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BhagyaKar, its owner, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including but not limited to any decision relating to health, finances, relationships, property, gemstones, or any other matter made in reliance on a reading. In any event, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you actually paid us for that specific reading or consultation.
Live video and email consultations are conducted personally by our Jyotishi. As with the automated reading, any opinion, remedy, or gemstone suggestion given during a consultation is for guidance purposes only and is subject to the same disclaimers in Sections 1, 2, and 7 above.
The BhagyaKar name and logo, the website and app design, the structure and format of our readings, our proprietary reading engine, and all associated software, source code, and databases are the exclusive intellectual property of BhagyaKar and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable Indian and international laws.
You may keep and share your own individual reading (the PDF or email sent to you) for personal, non-commercial use only. Beyond that, you may not copy, reproduce, scrape, reverse-engineer, republish, distribute, sell, or create any derivative product or service based on any part of the Service — including its design, source code, reading formats, or written content — without our prior written permission. Unauthorized use or reproduction of our intellectual property will be treated as infringement, and we reserve the right to pursue civil and/or criminal remedies available to us under applicable Indian law.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by submitting photographs that are not your own without consent, attempting to abuse or bypass rate limits, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
In accordance with the Information Technology Rules, 2011 and 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we have designated a Grievance Officer to address complaints regarding this Service or your data.
We will acknowledge your grievance within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days of receipt, in line with applicable timelines under Indian law. Please include "GRIEVANCE" in your email subject line along with a clear description of the issue.
